QUESTION 1

Describe how two or more of the concepts above [Family, Patriotism, Faith, and Education]
have helped to shape your core values. Provide one example from your personal experience,
and one of your future goals that exemplifies their impact on your life.
QUESTION 2

John 15:13 states, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
friends.” In the literal sense, this verse describes how men and women are willing to sacrifice
their lives for their fellow man while protecting our everyday freedoms. We can look at our
current world situation and see this being put into action on almost a daily basis. Reflect on
your own personal life, and family history. Share an example of sacrifice by you, or a family
member, and how it has helped to shape the person you are, and the core values you believe
in.
QUESTION 3

Everyone experiences a season of grief in their life, whether a loss of a loved one, loss of a job,
loss of a relationship, etc. What helps develop a person’s character is how they walk through
that difficult season and the growth they experience along the way. In your own words, tell us
about a time you experienced grief, how it impacted you, and how you navigated through it (or
are still navigating through it). Give an example of how what you experienced led to personal
growth to which you are now able to help others in a way you would not have been able to
before.
